About Us
This purpose of this article is to tell our customers a little bit about the owners of the Biker T Shirts and Tanks online store. We are a father and son team and this is our first venture into the Internet retail sales business.
Both of us are from a small town in the Texas panhandle, about 50 miles east of Amarillo. That particular geographical area in the panhandle is known for its cattle ranching, farming, oil and natural gas production and related petrochemical industries. A new industry is on the ground floor in the area and that is wind powered turbine electricity generators. It is said that our hometown in the Texas Panhandle will become the wind turbine generator capitol of the world, creating a whole new industry and job market. There's certainly no shortage of wind, as a renewable energy source, in the Texas Panhandle!
Not only are we a father and son team, we also have the same first name. Not senior and junior, just the same first name. Hince our online presence as BandB. When togeather we're called BB (the writer of this article and the senior) and BP by family and friends You certainly fit into this group, being new customers and friends.
I was born in Texas and BP was born in the Republic of the Phillippines. I was in the US Navy, stationed at the Cubi Point Naval Air Station at the time. BP's mother and I lived in naval housing at the Subic Bay Naval Station and he was born in the naval hospital there. Mom, dad, and new born son, left the Phillippines for Texas when he was 2 months old. We settled into our first family home and I went to work in the family wholesale oil and fuel business with my dad.
I have since owned a supper club, a cocktail lounge, and a liquor inventory management and bar equipment business. This took up over 25 years of my life. I sold my business in Texas and moved to the mountains of Arizona to be close to BP several years ago. He has been in Arizona since 1999 and has worked in retail store management and rental property maintance businesses. BP has also gone to college taking computer networking classes, as well as getting his Windows Certified certificate. He is a natural born artist.
Getting into the online motorcycle apparel business was a way for us to have our own father and son business!
